Syracuse Soccer Academy is a family affair.

The SSA is child-first, child focused and child skilled development program. We are a soccer organization with happy, healthy kids as our passion. SSA child-first approach and not club-first approach also makes it one of the finest player development programs around. Everybody likes to win, but developing successful players and people is what's fundamental in SSA.

Sign up now for 2010 fall/winter league games & training

SSA is now forming teams for fall/winter training & games played on Saturday or Sunday. Each player/team will be trained two days during the week with games being played on weekends. Not all age groups participate in fall/winter friendly leagues. Please sign your child up ASAP so he/she can be placed on a team for games. SSA focuses on individual skill development & small group play

SSA views the game not just as an 11 v 11 contest on a whole field but as constantly changing sequences of play between two, three and sometimes four players.

Team systems are important, but they are only as good as the individual players in them. They cannot compensate for poor control or inaccurate passing and shooting.

We believe that individual technique and small group skills in attack and defense determine a team’s success.

SSA therefore focuses on individual skill development and small group play.
